Life at Glamorgan University

 

 

Last September in 2012 I’ve start my new life that when I come to start studying in Glamorgan University. After my high school I’ve decided to complete my study in the UK and that was the most important decision in my life.  It is hard to life in other country without your family and friends and with different culture and religion. I’ve asked my parents and friend if that is a good decision I’ve made or not. Most of my family and friends was sporting my they said that your future you have to work in it. However, the first day for me in the Glamorgan university was hard because I don’t know anybody her  and I’ve lost in this big university but I thing that good because that which happened for my helped me to find a friend. I was asking any person in the university ‘where is the international student office’ every one give me a different locution. Ones of the people who I’ve asked them he is my close friends know and he in my same class. Therefore, I believe that studying in the UK was a very good decision I made in my life that because I’ve learned a lot of things such as English language, British culture, British life style and food. That things which happened to me are affective in me new life in the university. Next September I’m going to start my first year degree in computer security. I believe that I’ll going to do well because I’ve got some experience of the life in the university such as the university blokes, teachers, friends, transport, and the commendation. The only things which anode me is I’ll not be in the same class with my friend  that because everyone has a different subject to study.   

Presentation Feedback

 

 

 

 

Today in the class we did a presentation about our studying degree in the University and why we chosen it. In every subject and some work we have to do a presentation. Today, in the class when I did my presentation I’ve made some strength thinks and there are some weaknesses. One of the benefit thinks to do in our presentation was facing all the audience when we speaks in the presentation. According to rogerdarlington, (2012) ‘Face your audience at all times even though the screen to which you are speaking is behind you.’  Also, there are a good think I did in my presentation such as speaking clear, using easy vocabulary, not shy, using a nice and clear slides, and I’ve include in-text reference. On the other hand, I did some wrong things in the presentation. The biggest weaknesses I made were the grammar and spilling mistakes. It is important in every presentation we do is the grammar and spilling. According to University of Kent (2013) said that, the grammar and spilling are one of the important things to do to have a good presentation .However, I did some other mistakes I should not do in it in the future such as adding just one reference, I have to be more serious, include reference for the images, and I did not prepare before I doing the presentation. If I focuses more and try to not do this wrong things in the presentation I will maybe had a better marks and be more professional in the future.

Computer Security (2013)

When I finished my high school I decided to complete my studies in the University. I was thinking to choose a new and rear subject to study that because I want to be a successful person. I’ve decide to choose computer security to study because I love the computer and also that subject are new in my country. There are many universities in my country but nobody of this University has got this subject. I was happy to her that and in same time I’ve dispersed about that. I was happy because I will be one of the first people are studding this subject in my country and that will help me to find a job. On the other hand, I was disappointed because if I have to study this subject I have to travel to other country to study.  The universities in my country did not teach this subject that could be because it is a new subject. I was believed that this subject will be taught in our university in my country in the future.
